Global Payments Day 2021 – along with an award for adorsys

From 22-24 September 2021, adorsys CEO Andrew J Zeller, together with Andre Achtstaetter, VP International Division, were in Kyiv for the Global Payments Day Conference. It was an action-packed few days of meetings, event sessions and being inspired about the payment trends of tomorrow.

Kicking off our trip to Kyiv, we first caught up with our partners from Golden Dimension and discussed key market trends, clients’ needs and much more.

After so many months in the virtual-only events limbo, we were excited to see the real-life Global Payments Day magic return for back-to-back sessions, fun and networking.

And we weren’t disappointed!  Titled Future Finance is Open Finance, the event was all about how open banking globally transforms transcoding and local payments.  Throughout various breakout sessions, experts discussed e-commerce methods, New Payment Platforms, the future of financial services in Ukrainian villages, GDPR in the mind of the OP and other hot topics.

Joining the stage, Andre explained the power of dynamics in the global payments and crypto industry, including the rise of digital payment methods:

To sum up we really had an incredible time in Kyiv and at Global Payments Day 2021!
